Chirosport is a high intensity musculoskeletal clinic for athletes with acute and chronic pain. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to treatment emphasizing athlete education and body awareness to improve performance and prevent future injury.

Effective treatment requires a direct approach that will address the current issue and identify the cause. Through one-on-one assessment and corrections of movement patterns, symptoms can be effectively treated and further issues prevented. We offer simple plans that focus on holistic treatment and patient education. It is all about working together towards achieving your health and performance goals.

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic adjustment addresses motion restrictions of the spine and extremities that are preventing normal movement. Using both manual and instrumented assisted adjusting techniques reducing pain and establishing normal range of motion.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is used to relax tight muscles, restore balance to the body, and remove swelling. It is an effective treatment for many musculoskeletal conditions, especially difficult to treat issues like plantar fasciitis, strain/sprains, and shin splints. Acupuncture uses extremely fine needles that are relatively painless and can produce fantastic results.

REHABILITATIVE EXERCISE

Rehabilitative exercise is used to retrain normal muscle firing patterns and "turn on" inhibited muscles. Patients will work one-
on-one with the Doctor to learn how to properly perform all exercise so they can be performed at home.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY (EPAT)

Shockwave (EPAT) therapy is offered as a service in addition to chiropractic care. This proprietary technology is based on a unique set of pressure waves that stimulate metabolism, enhance blood circulation and accelerate the healing process. Damaged tissue gradually regenerates and eventually heals.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release uses cupping, scraping, and manual techniques to remove fascial restrictions and re-establish proper muscle tone and function.
